Very Good. 1956, bright-tight copy,Avon T-146, , light reading creases, minor soiling, the cover and the first few pages have a tiny edgetear that starts about mid front cover and ends at page nine,,approx.3/8" receding to 1/16".Remainder lines to top/bottom endpages. Still a great collection copy! In the 21st century there has been a great Atomic War between America and the Eastern Hemisphere. The U.S. Oil Shortage is desperate and they are forced to pirate oil from the enemy's huge reserves, the only problem is that the last 20 Subs to try were lost, so a very talented and unusual ensign is selected to make the next attempt and find out why every attempt ends in catastrophy!
